Susan D. DeCoste, M.D. Dr. DeCoste is a board certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from Mount Holyoke College prior to attending medical school at The University of Connecticut. Dr. DeCoste did a medical internship at Boston University then did her dermatology residency at Harvard. She completed a laser and photo medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General and Beth Israel Hospitals. She has numerous laser and other research publications. Dr. DeCoste has been teaching laser and cosmetic dermatology at her academic practice at Massachusetts General Hospital for over 20 years. Dr. DeCoste is a clinical instructor in dermatology at Harvard Medical School. She is a longtime fellow of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. She is on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology. She also serves on the staff at South Shore Hospital. Dr. DeCoste practices general medical and surgical dermatology with a strong background and interest in laser and cosmetic dermatology.
.Dr. Teresa DeGiacomo, MD Dr. Teresa DeGiacomo practices medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Dr. DeGiacomo graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Society. Dr. DeGiacomo received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Harvard Primary Care/Internal Medicine program at Mount Auburn Hospital and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. Dr.DeGiacomo then completed her dermatology training at the Harvard Medical School combined residency in dermatology program at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Longwood area Hospitals. After residency Dr. DeGiacomo was recruited to be on the Harvard Academic faculty and attended at the Brockton VA Hospital where she trained Harvard Medical school students and residents for several years before devoting full time to private practice on the south shore prior to forming South Coast Dermatology with Dr. Susan DeCoste. She was also a pediatric laser surgeon at Children's Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and is the Medical Director of the Laser Center if Quincy.
Dr. DeGiacomo is a clinical instructor in dermatology at Harvard Medical School. She is a long time fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and the New England Dermatology Society. She is also on the staff at South Shore Hospital.
Donna Gensheimer, MSN, FNP
Donna Gensheimer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and continued on to receive her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After practicing Family Medicine for 12 years, she has turned her focus to Dermatology. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by ANCC. Her professional affiliations include Massachusetts Nursing Association, Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and The Dermatology Nursing Association. Gail O'Toole, ANP Gail O'Toole is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. There she received the Distinguished Service Award. Subsequently she attended Northeastern University in Boston, again graduating summa cum laude with a Masters in Science and receiving the Mary Gass Robinson Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice.
Her past and current affiliations include South Shore Hospital, Adjunct Clinical Associate at Northeastern University and Simmons College in association with the Preceptorship Program.
She is a current member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, Metro South Nurse Practitioner Association and the Dermatological Nurses Association. Her clinical experience has been primary care, emergency medicine and presently dermatology.
