Susan D. DeCoste, M.D.
Dermatologist in Weymouth, MA
South Coast Dermatology & Cosmetic Center
Dr. DeCoste is a board certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from Mount Holyoke College prior to attending medical school at the University of Connecticut. Dr. DeCoste did medical internship at Boston University then did her dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School based at MGH and the Longwood Hospitals. She completed a laser and photo medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General and Beth Israel Hospitals. She has numerous laser and other research publications. Dr. DeCoste has been teaching laser and cosmetic dermatology at her academic practice at Massachusetts General Hospital for over 20 years. Dr. DeCoste is a clinical assistant professor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. She is a longtime fellow of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. She is on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology. She also serves as the Dermatology Division co-chief at South Shore Hospital.
Dr. DeCoste practices general medical and surgical dermatology with a strong background and interest in laser and cosmetic dermatology.
Teresa DeGiacomo, M.D.
Dr. DeGiacomo practices medical and surgical dermatology with a strong interest and experience in cosmetic dermatology. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Dr. DeGiacomo graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. DeGiacomo received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Harvard Primary Care/Internal Medicine program at Mount Auburn Hospital and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. DeGiacomo then completed a residency in dermatology at the Harvard Medical School based at MGH and the Longwood Hospitals. After residency, Dr. DeGiacomo was on the Harvard Medical School Faculty. She trained students and residents for several years. She was on staff at Children’s and Beth Israel Hospitals as a pediatric laser surgeon prior to devoting full time to practice on the South Shore. Dr. DeGiacomo also served as the Medical Director of the Laser Center of Quincy.
Dr. DeGiacomo is a long time fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, and the New England Dermatology Society. She also serves on staff at South Shore Hospital.
Heidi Anderson-Dockter, M.D.
Dr. Anderson graduated with highest honors from the University of Virginia College of Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago and dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center , a major research and clinical affiliate of Boston University, which is nationally recognized for both medical and surgical dermatology. In her third year of dermatology residency, she served as the chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Anderson completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center. She initially was a faculty member at Roger Williams Medical Center and trained resident dermatologists in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Anderson has written numerous articles on general and surgical dermatology topics. Her work has been published in journals including Dermatologic Surgery and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has also spoken at national meetings on the topics of Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatopathology.
Dr. Anderson is board certified in dermatology, and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is also a member of many honorary societies including AOA and Phi Beta Kappa.
As a Mohs Surgeon, Dr. Anderson has completed an intense one-year fellowship that is approved by the American College of Mohs Surgeons. She is an expert in all aspects of skin cancer surgery. This includes basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, as well as other forms of skin cancer. Dr. Anderson specializes in the diagnosis and repair of skin lesions, including cosmetic reconstruction following skin cancer removal, skin grafts, and skin flaps.
Courtney Csikesz, M.D.
Dr. Courtney Csikeszis a graduate of Bowdoin College, where she earned her B.A in Biology. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her internship at Cambridge Health Alliance and her dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center, a major research and clinical affiliate of Boston University, where she served as chief resident. She also studied dermatology at the University of Rome in Italy.
Dr. Csikesz completed her pediatric dermatology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is board-certified in dermatology and pediatric dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. Since fellowship, she practiced in Southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island for 2 years while her husband completed his own medical training. She is also a Clinical Instructor at Boston University and served as teaching faculty for residents and medical students at Roger Williams Medical center.
Dr. Csikesz is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society of Pediatric Dermatology and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society. She practices general, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. Clinical interests include acne, pediatric surgery and lasers.
Donna Gensheimer, M.S.N, F.N.P.
Donna Gensheimer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and continued on to receive her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduated with honors, and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to Dermatology, she practiced Family Medicine for 12 years. Her professional affiliations include American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Dermatology Nurses' Association and Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
Karen Borden, N.P.
Karen Borden received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Towson State University in Towson, Maryland. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to Dermatology, her clinical experience had been in Oncology, working in MGH Cancer Center. Professional affiliations include the Massachusetts Coalition for Nurse Practitioners, the Oncology Nursing Society and the Dermatology Nursing Association.
Alicia Van Cott, N.P.
Alicia Van Cott received her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in 2011 and completed a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Training Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2012. Prior to that, she worked in the Dermatology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Registered Nurse and in clinical trials researching the safety and efficacy of new drugs for over 12 years. She has conducted research, authored several articles and a book chapter in the field of dermatology. Her work has been published in journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is an active member of the Dermatology Nursing Association, the New England Dermatology Society, and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. She is a Dermatology Board Certified Nurse and is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Jessica Grabowski, M.S., P.A.C.
Jessica Grabowski is a graduate of Rutgers University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Biology while concurrently teaching Neuroanatomy to undergraduate students at Rutgers University. She entered the Rutgers Univeristy Physician Assistant Program and became a certified P.A., graduating with a Master of Science degree. Her years of medical practice have been focused entirely in Dermatology. Jessica's professional affiliations include the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Inc and American Academy of Physicians Assistants.
